A compact, module version of Photon Force’s ubiquitous PF32 camera is suitable for building into low Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) production systems, making it ideal for systems integration and OEM applications.

This module solution allows product developers full control over the optical path, as well as simple and straightforward mechanical integration.

Maximising Frame Rates and Minimising Latency

Utilising a powerful Xilinx Artix 7 FPGA, Photon Force modules come with a range of standard, or customer-specific, processing functions that offer hardware acceleration of an application’s processing requirements.
The modules also include a 4-lane PCle connection to the chosen hosts system using an industry-standard OCuLink connector, allowing the user to maximise frame rate, minimise latency and extract the best possible performance from the SPAD array.

Photon Force modules have been developed specifically for OEM use of our market-leading technologies.
While the PF32 camera products and software remain a great solution for research and proof-of-concept work, the OEM module enables volume production of compact end products with Photon Force’s ultra-high speed single photon counting technology embedded inside.
